ABA Centers Of Pennsylvania Unveils New Autism Care Center In The King Of Prussia Area

ABA Centers of Pennsylvania Ribbon Cutting

Today, ABA Centers of Pennsylvania hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil its newest autism care center. Guests included local public servants and community representatives, and a certificate of recognition from the office of State Representative Melissa Shusterman was presented. This clinic will provide diagnostic and autism care services to the King of Prussia community and the greater Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.

The new autism care clinic offers an expansive 8,800 square feet for individualized autism therapy services. The strategically designed center provides children with a vibrant, immersive, and engaging environment to receive therapy lessons that will help them navigate life on the spectrum and teach them the tools to achieve a robust and fulfilling future.

ABA Centers of Pennsylvania provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services to children with autism through a play-based approach rooted in positive reinforcement. The organization was founded to disrupt the autism care industry by demolishing wait times traditionally experienced by those seeking a diagnosis or treatment.

“We have some parents within our program here that have been on waitlists for two plus years that we were able to get into service right away and make drastic changes to their children’s lives,” stated Lewis Moffit, Executive Director of the ABA Centers of Pennsylvania clinic in Wayne.

It’s common for families to be waitlisted for months to several years to receive these services for their children. However, ABA Centers of Pennsylvania typically admits kiddos into therapy within 47 days of initial contact with the organization.

“This is a growing zip code, and one of the reasons people are coming to Chester County, coming to the Main Line, is to get near providers specifically for their kids. We hear it over and over and over again,” remarked Josh Maxwell, Board of Commissioners for Chester County. “We’re absolutely ecstatic to have ABA Centers of Pennsylvania as an asset and a support system for our kids, our families, and our friends.”

The life-changing work that ABA Centers of Pennsylvania does is only possible with a passionate and experienced ABA therapy team. Autism healthcare requires unique personal dedication with a particular combination of determination, compassion, and skill.  ABA Centers of Pennsylvania nurtures their teams of behavior analysts and technicians and helps them grow because their success is carried forward hundreds of times over with each child reached due to their efforts.

“The budget that we just passed that increases the amount of money we’re putting into intellectual disability and autism services is really, really important considering the number of individuals being diagnosed with autism continues to go up, so I want to thank ABA Centers of Pennsylvania for being a part of the community,” State Senator Amanda Cappelletti commented while addressing the crowd.

ABA Centers of Pennsylvania opened its first autism care center in Bala Cynwyd this past Spring.

ABA Centers of Pennsylvania’s Wayne autism care center is at 999 Old Eagle School Road. The organization has plans to open one more autism care clinic in southeastern Pennsylvania in 2024.
